associates announce the appointment of diversity leader,
Arlene Roane, as Managing Director
May 31, 2007Cleveland, OhioTalent acquisition and
retention services firm, paul~lawrence associates,
and sister company highbridge associates, with offices
in Cleveland, Chicago, New York, Detroit, Atlanta and Sarasota,
today announced the appointment of Arlene Roane as Managing Director
and Practice Leader for the firm's Diversity and Inclusion services.
Arlene, joins highbridge from Global Lead Management Consulting,
where, since 2001, she served as a member of the leadership team
and drove several landmark research projects, including the nationally
acclaimed study, "Diversity Practices That Work: The American
Worker Speaks," published in 2004 by the National Urban League.
Additionally, she served as leading relationship builder and manager,
strategist, consultant and facilitator/trainer to many of the firm's
Fortune 500 clients.
In her new position, Arlene will help expand highbridge and paul~lawrence business
growth through the introduction of offerings targeted to meet client
needs for improved performance in diversity and inclusion across
the spectrum of human capital services currently delivered by the
firms. Her specific focus will be on multicultural recruitment
and sourcing, and on increasing diversity in the internally and
externally sourced talent pools available for managerial and executive
development and succession planning. She will be based in Cincinnati,
giving the firm added presence in the region; however, her reach
will be national in scope.
Prior to Global Lead, Arlene held corporate executive and managerial
positions in business development, strategic planning and marketing
with several national communications companies. During her corporate
career, she was a company leader in the development of employee
resource groups for women, African-Americans and other minorities.
Arlene received a bachelor degree from MIT in 1983 and an Executive
MBA from the University of Colorado in 1991.
